Junktales wings to help you WaNDeR!

My newest obsession has become with wings.  I am not really sure why???  I guess I just love the way they make me feel, like I could just fly away and wander the open sky!  Okay maybe not, but I can pretend!

Here are a few that I have been working on.  The larger wings are about 4 feet across.

The smaller ones are about 18″ across and are displayed on a stick and rustic wooden base.  The very soft color of the coffee filters lends itself to the angel wing creation.

I threw in a pair made from vintage hymnal paper.  I love the wings on the sticks.  They can go anywhere!

I hope you all enjoy!!

I am totally in love with wings right now.  I don’t know what brought this new love on, but here I am.  I sat down one night very late and decided to start creating a pair of my own.  I created these babies with cardboard and coffee filters.  I am really happy with the way they turned out.  I have started making smaller versions with filters and hymnal paper.  I am going to make large and small ones on sticks to display on shelves next…..

I also think the wings look lovely with the JOY banner that was created by Debbie.  I want to hang them together forever!

These were photographed at a show that Debbie and I recently did here in Midlothian, VA.

We had lots of goodies for sale.  I will post some other pictures for everyone to see.

Thanks for looking and JUNK ON!

Comic Book Wreath!

My love of paper strikes again…

I found some amazing old comics at a yard sale a few weeks ago.  For all of my comic fans out there.  I did look them up to see if they were worth a MILLION dollars before I ripped them up.  They were not!

I am so happy with the way this turned out with the comic and craft paper combination.

I hope you all enjoy it!
